Two hills in one holiday Pyhä-Luosto is one whole area that is comprised of two fell resorts in the middle of Lapland (only 90 minutes from the Arctic Circle and 3 hours from the Sampo Ice-Braker) with excellent facilities and well organised activity services. The winter in Pyhä-Luosto offers skiing, visits to Pyhä-Luosto Husky and Reindeer Park, snowmobile, reindeer and husky safaris in the snowy forest and snowshoe hikes to the untouched fell slopes. Choices for a summer adventures includes hiking up to Amethyst Mine (the only one in whole Europe which welcomes visitors) or in the Pyhä National Park, canoeing, fishing, bicycling and swimming. A number of memorable summertime events will be arranged at Pyhä-Luosto, distinguished for their intimate atmosphere and content. The Aittakuru Amphitheatre and the “concert hall” built on the Luosto slopes offer venues difficult to find elsewhere. The best known events are for example Kuru Soi –festival week, Pyhä Unplugged and Luosto Classic.
